Game play

Oasis Poker is a card game in which 5 cards need to be as similar as possible – for example one pair, three similar cards, all 5 cards of the same suit, etc. Players play against the dealer – the player holding the hand with the highest value (see the table of hand rankings) is the winner.

After placing the ANTE, i.e. the initial bet, the dealer deals 5 cards to the players and the dealer also receives 5 cards. Then the player may look at his cards and decide whether to continue the game, discard cards or fold. It is possible to discard 1 or 2 cards by paying a sum equal to the ANTE bet for each card.

To continue the game the player needs to place an additional bet, which is always twice the ANTE bet. Then the dealer will reveal his/her cards. If the dealer has a hand (i.e. at least an Ace and King), the dealer's and player's hands are compared. When the player has the highest hand, then the additional bet is paid according to the table of hand rankings, the ANTE bet is always paid 1:1. Only the ANTE is paid to the player if the dealer has no hand.

If the player has the highest hand (usually Three of a Kind or higher) and the dealer has none, then for the equivalent of ANTE's value the dealer's highest card may be replaced. If the dealer still has no hand, ANTE does not win.

AA Bonus

It is also possible to bet on bonus box "A". In case the player has a pair of Aces or a higher hand with the first five cards, then the bonus payout is 7:1 (for all combinations).
